Lingual orthodontics is the art of straightening teeth with braces that are fixed on the inner (tongue-side) surface of the teeth. Because nothing is visible from the front, patients can smile, speak and work with complete confidence throughout their treatment. Prof. (Dr) Sanjay Labh is widely regarded as one of the pioneers who introduced and popularised invisible lingual orthodontic treatment in India.
Who Is It Suitable For?
- Working professionals, teachers, doctors, lawyers and anyone who meets people every day
- Brides and grooms preparing for their wedding
- Models, actors, anchors and performers
- Adults who want fixed-appliance precision without the "metal smile"
Why Choose Lingual Treatment with Dr. Labh?
Over three decades, Dr. Labh has refined every stage of lingual treatment — from case selection and bracket customisation to indirect bonding and finishing. His clinical innovations, including the LABH Lingual Jig for chairside bracket customisation and the Incisal & Occlusal Window Transfer Tray for accurate indirect bonding, have been published in peer-reviewed journals and are used by orthodontists across the country.
What to Expect
- Consultation & records — clinical examination, photographs, X-rays and digital scans
- Customised planning — brackets are individualised for your teeth in the laboratory
- Precise bonding — brackets are transferred to the teeth using an indirect-bonding tray
- Regular reviews — wire adjustments every four to six weeks
- Retention — invisible retainers to maintain the final result
Most patients adapt to lingual braces within a week or two; minor changes in speech and slight tongue discomfort usually settle quickly.
